On the show this week, I invited Zac Rhodenizer to come and talk to me about a field of psychology that he not only has studied extensively but also teaches. Zac is a provisional psychologist and a councilor at a couple of local elementary schools. He is also one of the brightest people that I know and very passionate about the field of psychology.
We discuss positive psychology including how to experience more positive emotions in your life and how to use your strengths to be more engaged in things you love to do. Aside from the psychology, we talk about Zac's fascination with wrestling, how he began to study psychology in the first place and what my greatest strength is.
I hope that this episode is not only informative but also inspiring. All of us could be more optimistic, happier people. If you would like to learn more about the subject, you can visit Zac's blog. In it, he discusses a lot of different topics, all viewed within the lens of positive psychology. You can also visit authentichappiness.org. There you can find a lot of tests to see your strengths, how you feel positive emotions and how you can experience more meaning and optimism in your life.
As always, remember to like, comment, subscribe, rate and review. It really does mean a lot to me when I see those things. Also be sure to get in touch with us and tell us what you thought about the episode. Did you love it? Did you hate it? What's your signature strength? When do you feel the most engaged? I'd love to hear all about it!
